Life expectancy has it’s pro’s and cons. It gives you the average age a person can love to in certain countries, if the conditions stay the same. It can indicate many things, such as how developed a country is, how it’s economy runs, and it makes it easier to compare countries, but unfortunately it is only an average so it doesn’t take into account each and every person. It also doesn’t take into account conflict in countries, so there may be a war in a country, so the life expectancy is naturally low, but when the war is over, it should increase significantly. Macau has the highest life expectancy in the world, and Angola has the lowest. In Europe, Monaco has the highest life expectancy (87.2) and Russia has the lowest (71). Generally, smaller countries have higher life expectancies, because there is a smaller population, meaning that there is a smaller range of factors contributing towards the life expectancy of that region.
